#23 Legends Thursday – Afex Interview

Back in the day Afex and I traded hard copy flicks. I was amazed by his art then and even more now. It was good to catch up with him after all these years. One thing that blew me away is his humbleness. You can’t deny he’s got an amazing style and has put in work. Then having this cool attitude and just being super solid makes you love his work that much more. I really like this interview and we cover so many great topics. I can’t wait to have him on the podcast again.

Sorry I couldn’t find the neck tattoo flick.

  • I finally caught up on all the pod casts. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate what you’re doing. The knowledge and understanding I’ve gained from listening to your pod cast is priceless. You’re doing so much for the graffiti community, I can’t thank you enough. Keep up the great work. I hope to be able to advertise or contribute in some way soon. I heard that SP one will be coming on soon and I’m so excited to hear that interview. I’v worked with him before and he’s an amazing artist and an extremely good person. I have a large collection of his work, both in progress shots and finished piece images, feel free to contact me if you need anything. Thanks again for all the time and effort you’ve put into this.

Thanks man. Greatly appreciate it. I dropped an interview with SBone today. I’d love to do an interview with SPone, but have no contact info for him. Hopefully some day. SB is an old school writer from NY that moved to Atlanta and was one of the first people benching freight train graffiti. Truly an inspiration in a lot of ways.

I’d really be interested in getting in contact with SPone if you can hook it up.
